Track the Hare

Lost at a check? Watch the hare lay trail live on the map, then On On all the way to the circle.

How it works

  1. 1

    The hare unlocks the trail

Today's hare opens Hare mode, enters the beer-key and taps Start run.

  2. 2

    The pack follows live

Everyone else taps Follow the Hare — the hare's path draws itself on the map as they run.

  3. 3

    Lost? Open Google Maps

One tap sends you to the hare's latest ping for directions. Then On On!

Read the trail marks

The live map is the backup plan. On the ground the hare still marks the trail in flour and chalk — these are the marks most kennels use.

On trail

On On!

A blob of flour means you're on the true trail. Keep going and call it for the pack.

Check

Checking!

The trail could go any way from here. Spread out and look for the next mark.

False trail

On Back!

The hare fooled you. Head back to the last check and find the true trail.

Beer check

B

Beer stop! Regroup, refuel, then carry on with the trail.
